PolicyMatchPH is a Philippine-based service that connects individuals seeking life insurance with licensed insurance advisors. We act as a personal information controller under RA 10173 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

2. What we collect

When you use our questionnaire, we collect:

• Identity information: your full name.
• Contact information: your mobile phone number and email address.
• Questionnaire answers: your age range, employment status, estimated income range, number of financial dependents, civil status, existing insurance coverage, budget range, and timeline for coverage.
• Health-related information (sensitive personal data): whether you have been diagnosed with conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease, or cancer; and whether you smoke or vape. This information is collected solely to help match you with plans suited to your health profile and is treated with strict confidentiality.
• Technical data: session identifiers, UTM parameters, and the referring URL, used to understand how you arrived at our site.

3. Why we collect it

We process your information to:

• Match you with a licensed Philippine insurance advisor suited to your needs.
• Verify your mobile number via a one-time PIN and confirm your email address.
• Communicate your preferences (callback time, coverage goals) to the matched advisor.
• Improve the quality and relevance of our matching service.

4. Who we share your data with

Your information may be shared with the licensed insurance advisor assigned to follow up with you. Advisors are bound by confidentiality obligations and are prohibited from using your data for purposes other than assisting you with insurance. Advisors may pay PolicyMatchPH to receive your enquiry and access your contact details and questionnaire answers. Before assignment, registered advisors can see a limited preview of your insurance needs, budget, and timeline; your name, contact details, and health answers are hidden. We may share aggregated, anonymised data for analytics.

5. How long we keep your data

We retain your personal information for up to three (3) years from the date of collection, or longer if required by applicable law or if an active advisory relationship exists. Health-related data follows the same retention period and is stored with encryption at rest.

6. Your rights under RA 10173

As a data subject, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure or blocking of data that is no longer necessary or was unlawfully processed.
• Object to the processing of your data on legitimate grounds.
• Data portability in a structured, commonly-used format.
• Lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) if you believe your rights have been violated.

7. Security

We implement technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls limited to authorised personnel, and audit logging of data access events.
